The World Perfumery Congress (WPC) 2026 will open its doors today at the Monterey Conference Center in Monterey, California. The show is taking place from June 23-25. BW Confidential is media partner of the event, and our May-June magazine is distributed at the show.
The American Society of Perfumers (ASP) has returned as producer of the three-day exhibition and conference for the fragrance industry. The ASP says it aims to improve the event following feedback from recent editions, and unveiled a new logo and website for this year’s show.
The theme for this year’s edition is “Scents Without Boarders”. It features conference sessions, perfumer workshops and networking events.
This year’s show introduces the inaugural WPC Exhibitor Awards, recognizing excellence in ingredients, fragrance technology, and sustainability.
The awards ceremony also includes the American Society of Perfumers Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes an individual whose career has made a significant contribution to the art and culture of perfumery. This year’s award is being presented to John Gamba, Senior Perfumer at Givaudan.
